OMTG-UAE constitution
OMTG-UAE is Registered Interest Group (RIG) of International Federation of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy (IFOMPT )
Mission:
OMTG UAE strives toward excellence in practice of musculoskeletal physical therapy through development of Orthopedic manual physical therapy practice in the UAE
Objectives:
- To promote the practice of Orthopedic manual therapy among physiotherapists
- To improve the standards of practice of orthopedic manual physical therapy by providing educational programs
- To establish a network channel among orthopedic manual physical therapists to exchange knowledge and ideas
- To represent the members nationally and internationally at the International Federation of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy ( IFOMPT)
- To promote the role of Orthopedic manual therapist among the public and health care professionals
- To facilitate and encourage research in the field of Orthopedic manual therapy
- To establish relationships with educational organizations nationally and internationally
- To Establish legal/official background and Recognition by UAE Ministry of Health for Manual Physical Therapy Practic
Membership:
Physiotherapists are eligible for membership in the OMTG-UAE if they have experience of minimum 2 years of full time practice in the field of musculoskeletal physiotherapy with minimum bachelor degree in physiotherapy and are members in the professional society representing physiotherapy in the UAE OR has completed (accredited/internationally recognized Manual Therapy Training such as Kaltenborn, MaitlandC McKenzie, Mulligan Concept, Cyriax...etc in the field of Orthopedic manual therapy

Membership termination:
- If the EPS membership is not renewed
- Upon request of the member
